Uppsala is a large city for sport events. Storvreta IBK is one of the absolute top teams in the Swedish Superleague in floorball. Uppsala Basket has with their new players established themselves as one of the greatest teams in the Swedish basketball league. Almtuna Hockey still makes them heard in the Swedish “Hockeyallsvenskan”, the second best hockey league in Sweden. Sirius football surprised many last season when they as newcomers had good margin down to the bottom of the league in Swedish “Superettan”, the second best league in Sweden. Also Sirius bandy is a classic team with many years experience in the top league in this classical Swedish sport. Add that we are world champions in Badminton and miniature golf.
